Vundo is a trojan horse, also known as Virtumonde or Virtumondo, that causes popups and bombards you with popups for fake antispyware programs.
Vundo infects your computer by exploiting a vulnerability in Java. Vundo installs itself on your pc using browser helper objects and DLL files attached to Winlogon and Explorer.exe
It’s common that Vundo shows popups for Sysproect, Storage Protector and Winfixer.
Vundo also displays popups telling you your computers performance is deteriorating and you must buy antispyware software to fix it. The problem is all the antispyware software they recommend are spyware themselves.
SpyZooka is a 5 star rated antispyware program that is known to remove Vundo.

I really hate Vundo. So much so that I have spent many hours writing free guides to remove this threat. It’s bad stuff. Most people who become infected with it would not of been infected if they did not really on free clients like AVG. Go out and purchase a real security suit and you won’t have to worry about it. If you are already infected then make sure to do some research and find what software suits really work at removing Vundo.

Thanks for sharing. I will definitely have to give SpyZooka a shot. I was infected with Vundo about a year ago and at the time neither Spybot or AdAware could remove it.
